The delivery of a major office consolidation and reconfiguration project for CME Group, one of the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplaces, at its headquarters in Millennium House, Belfast.
CME Group required a consolidation of its operations and a seamless transition from three floors to two. WorkSpace managed and delivered the full programme of works - ensuring completion on time, within budget and with minimal disruption to daily operations.
The project began with the responsible clearance of the office space no longer in use, with all furniture and loose items donated to local schools or upcycled, reflecting our shared commitment to sustainability.
Extensive construction and reconfiguration work was undertaken to optimise the space across the remaining two floors and to support the client's evolving business needs. This included the creation of a larger, purpose-built forensic room, a new confidential data centre (CDC) room and a suite of modern meeting rooms with integrated air conditioning, lighting, AV systems, and sound attenuation, creating a high-performance, collaborative environment.
Key features also included an IT build room and a dedicated faith room with a private washroom, providing specialist and inclusive facilities that support both technical operations and employee wellbeing.
Delivered on time and within budget, the project represents another successful collaboration with a global client. Through expert planning, technical precision, and attention to detail, WorkSpace ensured CME Group's Belfast team transitioned seamlessly into a modern, efficient, and future-ready workplace.
