Our approach to CSR has led to us being recognised with the BITC NI ‘Responsible Company of the Year’ and the Considerate Constructors Scheme ‘Most Considerate Site’.
At WorkSpace we have a complete and transparent commitment to sustainable practices and playing our part in upholding the highest environmental standards. We currently hold certification to the following standards ISO14001, ISO50001 and ISO14064 and these systems manage, control and influence our environmental impacts and behaviours. We have recently launched our Net Zero Carbon Strategy with a commitment to be a Net Zero Emission business by 2030.
We obtained certification to the Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody standard in 2008 and continue to have this certification in place. All suppliers are required to provide evidence that timber and wood based products are sustainably and legally sourced, and where applicable this evidence is required to be provided as part of BREEAM and SKA assessments, along with evidence of responsible sourcing of other materials to achieve appropriate credits.
