Seamus Heaney Library shortlisted for Best Interior Design of the Year

We are delighted to announce that our Seamus Heaney Homeplace Library project has been shortlisted for Best Interior Design of the Year at this year's Belfast Telegraph Property Awards.

In 2021, WorkSpace acted as main contractor to refurbish the library within the Seamus Heaney visitor centre in Bellaghy for our Client Mid Ulster Council.

The Client brief was to create a space that visitors could browse through the book collection, taking their time to sit and read or write at individual desks, or engage with the brand new digital archive which brings together for the first time radio and television broadcasts presented by, or featuring, the poet.
